Who we are

This website is operated by Hyperspeed Heating Services Ltd, trading as Hi-Speed Heating Services, of 288 Bannow Road, Cabra, Dublin 7. VAT number 4407545BH.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any question about it, contact us on 01 6991196 or Info@hispeedheating.ie.

What information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to do the work you have asked us to do.

• When you contact us — through the form on this site, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and whatever you tell us about the job.
• When we carry out work — details of your boiler or appliance, the work done, dates of service, and any service or compliance records we complete for you.
• Payment details — we record that a payment has been made and for what. We do not store card details.

We do not collect any special category data, and we do not knowingly collect information about children.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To answer your enquiry and quote for work — because you have asked us to, and to take steps before entering into a contract with you.
• To carry out the work and invoice you — to perform our contract with you.
• To keep gas safety and service records — to meet our legal obligations as a Registered Gas Installer, and because both of us have a legitimate interest in there being an accurate record of work carried out on a gas appliance.
• To remind you when your annual service is due — our legitimate interest in maintaining the safety of appliances we have worked on, and keeping your manufacturer warranty valid. You can ask us to stop these reminders at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for marketing.

We share it only where we have to:

• Our website host and email provider, who store the messages you send us.
• Our accountant, for invoicing and tax records.
• Manufacturers or the Register of Gas Installers of Ireland, where a warranty registration or compliance record requires it.
• Anyone we are legally obliged to give it to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once they are clearly no longer live. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as we need them for safety, warranty and tax purposes — invoicing and tax records are kept for six years, as Irish tax law requires.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• have anything inaccurate corrected
• ask us to delete it, where we do not have a legal reason to keep it
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
• ask us to transfer it to someone else
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we relied on consent

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not profile visitors. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and limit access to it to the people who need it to do their job. No system is completely secure, but if anything ever went wrong in a way that put your rights at risk, we would tell you and the Data Protection Commission as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
